Entrepreneurial Roots

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity of visiting my hometown of Presa de los Serna located in the outskirts of Calvillo, Aguascalientes. It was great to be back after 8 years and to reunite with family and friends. During my time in La Presa, I was able to reflect on the entrepreneurial spirt that lives within our immediate family. For example, just before moving the states, my mother ran a shoe store, I have cousin who owns and operates a hamburger chain all over Aguascalientes, aunts that run catering businesses out of their homes, and uncles who still harvest Guavas. I feel honored to be surrounded by so many inspirational people and to be able to carry some of that entrepreneurial spirt within me as well.
